FAQ

Common questions

Do I have to host with Nova Grid to use these services?

No. Both services work on any cPanel-based host (and Plesk / DirectAdmin for migration). The migration service is also a great way to test-drive Nova Grid hosting if you want to switch.

What's the refund policy?

For both services: full refund if we don't deliver within 24 hours of receiving your intake details. Site Hardening is preventive maintenance, not a guarantee against future compromise. Security depends on what you do with the site after we hand it back.

What if my site is already hacked, can you clean it?

Site Hardening is for sites that aren't currently compromised. If you're actively dealing with malware, defacement, or a Google Safe Browsing flag, you need a malware specialist. We recommend Sucuri or Wordfence Care. Once your site is clean, come back and we'll harden it so it stays that way.

When does the 24-hour clock start?

When you reply on the support ticket with the access details we need. Payment alone doesn't start the clock. We need credentials/SFTP/cPanel access to actually do the work.

Can you migrate my emails?

Yes, up to 10 mailboxes are included, plus MX record cutover. If you have more than 10 mailboxes or use a non-cPanel email host (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), email migration is quoted separately.
