Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Nova Grid Hosting governing use of our services.

Effective Date

These Terms of Service are effective as of July 12, 2026.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Nova Grid Hosting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These Terms apply to all hosting plans, domain registration, and related services provided through novagridhosting.com.

Description of Services

Nova Grid Hosting provides the following services:

Managed WordPress hosting
Managed WooCommerce hosting
Joomla hosting
Static HTML and general web hosting
Professional Email (hosted mailboxes)
Game-server hosting (including Minecraft)
Domain name registration and management
DNS management
Paid add-on services (such as site migration and site hardening)
Related customer support services

Services are managed through our billing portal at novagridhosting.com/billing/.

Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
Be at least 18 years of age

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Payment and Billing

Pricing

Current pricing is displayed on our website. All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge recurring fees for your selected plan on each billing cycle.

Billing Cycle and Renewals

Services renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You will be charged on your renewal date unless you cancel before that date. Renewal notices are sent via email prior to each billing cycle.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new hosting accounts. Domain registrations are non-refundable once the registration has been processed with the registry. Account credit is non-refundable. Refund requests should be submitted through our billing portal or by contacting support.

Chargebacks and Disputed Payments

Chargebacks or payments disputed through your financial institution will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Disputes initiated by clients who have received punitive action for violating these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy will incur an administrative fee of no less than $125 and no more than $250 to cover the costs of our administrative staff time. Services associated with a disputed payment may be suspended pending resolution.

Fraudulent Payments

Services acquired through fraudulent payment methods will be immediately suspended or terminated. Affected accounts and associated data will be deleted upon termination. Nova Grid Hosting reserves the right to report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities.

Late Payment and Suspension

If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you via email. Accounts with unpaid invoices beyond 7 days may be suspended. Accounts suspended for non-payment beyond 7 days of the suspension date may be terminated and all associated data permanently deleted. We make every effort to communicate with clients before reaching this point. Please contact us if you anticipate a payment issue.

Acceptable Use

Your use of Nova Grid Hosting services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Content and Data

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to our servers. By using our services, you grant Nova Grid a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the hosting service.

Backups

You are solely responsible for maintaining current, independent, off-site backups of all data hosted on your account. While we may perform routine backups as a courtesy, we are not responsible for data integrity, regardless of circumstance, and make no guarantee that backups will be available or restorable. We strongly recommend keeping up-to-date backups on your own infrastructure.

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, with or without prior notice.

Data Processing

Where you process personal data of UK or EEA data subjects via our services, you act as the data controller and we act as a data processor on your behalf. Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is incorporated into these Terms by reference and governs the processing relationship, including subprocessor authorisation, security measures, breach notification, audit rights, and the return or deletion of your data on termination. Our handling of personal data we collect about you directly (for example, account and billing information) is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Data Location

Our hosting infrastructure is located in New York, NY, United States, operated by RackNerd LLC. Customers resident in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area acknowledge that the use of our services involves an international transfer of personal data to the United States. The legal mechanisms we rely on for such transfers (the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an Article 49 UK GDPR derogation, as applicable to each recipient) are described in our Privacy Policy and on our Subprocessors page.

Domain Registration

Domain name registrations are subject to the policies of the applicable domain registry and ICANN. You agree to provide accurate WHOIS contact information as required by ICANN. Domain transfers, renewals, and disputes are governed by ICANN policies and the applicable registry agreements.

Support Scope

Best-effort technical support for hosting infrastructure (including server hardware, network connectivity, and cPanel availability) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no additional charge. Support is provided on a best-effort basis and does not constitute a managed-services agreement. Clients requiring dedicated server management or software-level support may contact us for available options.

Uptime and Service Level

We target 99.9% uptime for all hosting services. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance and do not count against our uptime commitment. We are not liable for downtime caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to force majeure events, upstream provider outages, and distributed denial-of-service attacks.

Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "AS-IS." To the maximum extent permitted by law, no written, expressed, or implied warranties or guarantees are made. We do not guarantee that use of our services will meet your requirements or expectations, or that services will be accessible at any given time or from any given location.

Nova Grid Hosting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Nova Grid Hosting in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. Your sole remedy for any dispute with us is the cancellation of your account.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nova Grid Hosting, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the billing portal. We strongly recommend backing up all data before requesting cancellation. Hosting content (site files, databases, and mailboxes) belonging to a cancelled or terminated account is permanently deleted from our servers within 7 days of the cancellation or termination date, and any residual copies in our routine backups are purged within 30 days. Core account and billing records are retained for the periods set out in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.

Right to Refuse Service

Nova Grid Hosting reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service at our discretion in order to maintain the integrity and quality of our platform for all clients.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Customers resident in the United Kingdom retain the statutory right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which they are resident, and to rely on the mandatory consumer-protection laws of that country, where UK consumer law so requires. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable statutory rights of UK or EEA consumers.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
